Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KiliMani rental platform operated by SifatCloud ("we", "us") — including our mobile apps, website and related services. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What KiliMani is

KiliMani connects renters with landlords and property managers in Kenya. We verify landlord identities and review listings before they go live, but we are not a party to any tenancy agreement, we are not an estate agent or broker, and we do not own or manage the properties listed.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when registering.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
Landlords must complete identity verification (including national ID and KRA PIN) before publishing listings, and warrant that they are entitled to let the properties they list.

3. Listings and conduct

Listings must be truthful, current and lawful. We may reject, edit or remove any listing at our discretion.
No viewing fees. Nobody on KiliMani may charge a renter a fee merely to view a property. Report any such request in the app.
You may not use the platform for fraud, harassment, spam, scraping, or any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice.

4. Fees and payments

Browsing is free for renters up to the monthly quota shown in the app; continued access is available through the premium subscription priced as displayed in the app.
Landlords pay an annual listing fee per property, priced as displayed in the app at the time of payment.
Payments are processed by Paystack (card and M-Pesa). Fees are stated in Kenya Shillings and, except where required by law, are non-refundable once the service has been provided.
Prices may change; changes apply from your next purchase or renewal, never retroactively.

5. Content you submit

You retain ownership of the photos, videos and text you upload, and grant us a licence to host and display them for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You must have the rights to everything you upload.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided "as is". While we verify landlord identities and review listings, we do not guarantee the condition, availability or suitability of any property, and you should always view a property and verify details before paying any deposit or rent. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SifatCloud is not liable for losses arising from dealings between renters and landlords, and our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
